ADAMM

For Everyone | Included in most Nightingale Plans

ADAMM is a small elegant device that is also flexible and comfortable, so you don’t feel it when you’re wearing it.  You stick it on with medical grade adhesives.

While you’re wearing it, ADAMM tracks health parameters of interest to you, and transfers data via Bluetooth to your mobile device, or via Wi-Fi to your designated cloud. Use our friendly app to see all your data from ADAMM at a glance, so you understand what’s going on.

ADAMM is the only device that measures significant health parameters for asthma and COPD as you go about your daily life – all you need to do is put it on!

Anti-Static Valved Holding Chambers (aVHC)

Using your inhaler with the AEROCHAMBER PLUS® FLOW-VU® chamber decreases the amount of aerosol from the inhaler that lands in your mouth, which can cause drug side effects.  Use together to help get more medication deeper into your lungs where it needs to be to work the best.

Inhaler alone with poor technique. Poor lung delivery means you can taste your inhaler medication.

Inhaler with AEROCHAMBER brand of chamber. People who use our chamber with their inhaler have better control.

Each chamber has special features to work best for the user at each stage of growth.

  • Medium mask chambers include a sensitive valve for kids who don’t take in big breaths.
  • Three chambers (mouthpiece, intermediate and large masks) have a FLOWSIGNAL® Whistle. If the breath in is too fast, the whistle will sound to let you know to slow down.
  • Each of our masks are specifically designed to fit the shape of the face with no leaks around the edges.

 

The AEROCHAMBER PLUS® FLOW-VU® Chamber is the only chamber with a dedicated inhalation indicator.

The FLOW-VU® Inhalation Indicator moves when the user takes in a breath. This helps you to know when to press the top of the inhaler to release the medication, and shows there is a good seal around the mask (or mouthpiece). You can also use it to count the number of breaths, to make sure the user gets all of the medication from the chamber.

AEROBIKA® Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure (OPEP) Device

For People with COPD | Add-On to Nightingale Plan

The AEROBIKA® Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure Device, or OPEP device, helps to open and clear the airways of your lungs. You may need assistance with this if you have a lung condition like COPD, Bronchiectasis or Cystic Fibrosis.

How the AEROBIKA® OPEP Device Can Help

Cough and shortness of breath may be caused by mucus that gets trapped in the lungs. The AEROBIKA® OPEP Device can help remove this mucus and has been clinically proven to improve ventilation, lung function and quality of life as well as reduce COPD ­flare ups.1

How It Works

Before use: Airway Airways inflamed, collapsed and plugged with mucus.

As you exhale through the device, the airways are opened.

As the airways open, vibrations help thin and loosen mucus which can then be expelled.

This may help your inhaled medications work better.2

Take the guesswork out of Asthma management

Because asthma changes gradually and symptoms can come on slowly, you may not notice increasing limitations on physical activities — limitations that may be accepted as “normal”. This is actually a warning sign that your asthma is not well controlled and your symptoms are becoming worse.

Peak flow readings track these changes in your lung function so your care team can make sure you’re on the right medications and may even help to identify triggers aggravating your condition. Taking daily readings with a TRUZONE® Peak Flow Meter will help you stay on track with your asthma care.

The TRUZONE® Peak Flow Meter uses the traffic light system of red, yellow and green to assist in managing your asthma

  • Yellow means CAUTION
  • Red means STOP
